Responsibilities

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
  • Develop and implement cloud-native applications and microservices using AWS serverless technologies.
  • Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, reliability, provisioning, and management.
  • Lead technical reviews and advise development teams on AWS architecture, deployment strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define requirements, create architectural diagrams, and deliver solutions.
  • Establish governance, security, compliance, project-management standards, and delivery processes for AWS and project environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex AWS and architectural issues and maintain system integrity.
  • Manage multiple projects through planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation, and delivery.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and maintain technical specifications, risk assessments, and project documentation.
  • Mentor architects, engineers, and project teams while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, including significant AWS development and solution-design experience.
  • Expertise with AWS Elastic Beanstalk and experience with scalable technical solution design and implementation.
  • Strong business analysis, requirements-gathering, process-mapping, risk-management, and workflow-optimization skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, AWS CloudFormation, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Preferred experience with portfolio management, enterprise-level program delivery, change management, AI-driven project management solutions, and Lean Six Sigma or similar process-improvement methods.
  • Desired bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Desired PMP, CBAP, or similar certification.
