Base Salary
$72k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, integrate, implement, and support medium- to high-complexity software solutions.
- Build and maintain software using Java and JavaScript across web applications and backend services.
- Provide ongoing application support, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in an on-call support rotation.
- Collaborate with development teams and business partners to solve problems and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Support technology modernization efforts and learn new technologies used in implementations.
- Develop understanding of billing, premium, beneficiary management, illustrations, and related system integrations.
- Use development workflows and DevOps capabilities such as GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience developing software using Java and familiarity with JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and modern software development workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, ask questions, incorporate feedback through code reviews, and collaborate effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, accountability, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and willingness to grow technical skills.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, JUnit, relational databases such as SQL Server, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS capabilities including EC2, serverless services, and Lambda.
- Preferred experience integrating backend services with web applications and familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter.
