Base Salary
$56k - $103k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and implementation activities for low- to medium-complexity internal software integrations.
- Provide ongoing support for business applications and respond to production needs, including Level 3 off-hours support through a team rotation.
- Support operational and modernization efforts with internal teams in a global operating model.
- Develop and maintain Annuity and Institutional Retirement business knowledge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop knowledge of AI Software Development and Engineering within Securian’s Software Development Lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience with Java or other programming languages.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: experience with agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred: Java batch and Spring Batch experience.
- Preferred: experience with SQL Server, AWS, and ALIP Contract Administration System.
- Preferred: experience with Software Engineering, Software Development Lifecycle, and AI Software Development concepts.
