Responsibilities
- Build and integrate APIs that improve the customer journey.
- Optimize and enhance Lendable’s lending platforms and related financial products.
- Contribute to a range of product and internal tools projects across UK, US, and international expansion teams.
- Participate in architectural discussions and help shape future products.
- Write and maintain high-quality automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Work collaboratively with ownership and autonomy in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Requirements
- Modern PHP development experience, with PHP 8.0+ required.
- Strong knowledge of a modern PHP framework such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Excellent automated testing skills across unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Experience with domain-driven design, message-driven systems, and event sourcing is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and financial systems is preferred.
- Ability to contribute ideas, collaborate effectively, and take a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
- Cross-functional experience is preferred but not essential.
