Base Salary
$144k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide data technology leadership, oversight, and guidance for solution architecture standards and technology reuse.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative buy-versus-build analysis and provide recommendations.
- Lead architecture design reviews, identify gaps, and recommend design changes.
- Drive modernization opportunities for PBM data technologies through architecture-community leadership.
- Develop reference data architectures, guardrails, and guidelines while coaching engineering and product teams.
- Lead proofs of concept and technology deep-dives, particularly using AI for business analytics.
- Advise application development teams on technical roadblocks, including solution performance challenges.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing data designs and data models for complex technology transformation programs.
- Experience building automated workflows for data profiling and anomaly detection.
- Experience designing metadata tagging systems for Retrieval-Augmented Generation and reducing model hallucinations.
- Experience working with streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- 10+ years of overall design and development experience, including hands-on Python or functional programming language experience such as Scala.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major public cloud platforms, including GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML, including GenAI, experience and expertise automating processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Healthcare industry knowledge, SQL and NoSQL database knowledge, legacy mainframe or AS400 modernization experience, and a master’s degree are preferred.
