Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements with stakeholders for a set of scenarios.
- Lead dependency identification and design-document development for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Produce extensible and maintainable code and mentor engineers across products and solutions.
- Drive project plans, release plans, and work items across multiple groups.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual and participate in on-call monitoring for service degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security-screening requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800–$274,800 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
