Responsibilities
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with executive and technical customer stakeholders.
- Understand customer objectives and apply Stripe payments, SaaS, Banking-as-a-Service, and Link Network solutions.
- Deliver product demos, respond to RFPs, evangelize Stripe products, and secure technical wins.
- Collaborate with go-to-market, product, marketing, professional services, and partners on customer solutions and executive briefings.
- Help accelerate customer activation and time to live while supporting Stripe’s market reach.
- Travel approximately 25% to meet users and collaborate internally.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role and 7 years of total relevant experience.
- Experience presenting and architecting solutions for customers, preferably with payments-domain experience.
- Coding experience in at least two of Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, and Go.
- Experience with web architecture, enterprise architecture, or optimizing financial business processes.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and engage senior executives.
- Ability to understand interactions among ERP, CRM, billing, tax, and legacy systems.
- Strong organizational, time-management, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel according to business needs.
