Responsibilities
- Assess, design, and implement Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, RHEL, ODF, Kubernetes, and related cloud solutions.
- Implement automated, containerized cloud application platforms with infrastructure capabilities including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and resilience.
- Provide architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, incident response, and escalation support for customer environments.
- Serve as an on-site subject matter expert addressing technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs.
- Manage problem identification, system architecture, software specification and design, testing, deployment, and documentation for complex open source solutions.
- Deliver project results on time and within scope, including project journals and status reports.
- Participate in sales and proposal presentations and ongoing account activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is a plus.
- At least 3 years of Linux systems administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or a derivative.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies.
- At least 2 years of scripting or programming experience.
- Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, virtualized system deployment, client-based security, repositories, and core builds.
- Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, other Red Hat product experience, Red Hat certifications, Spanish fluency, and software development lifecycle knowledge are preferred.
- Ability to learn technologies quickly and communicate effectively with customers.
