Responsibilities
- Act as the technical subject-matter expert for workforce agent architecture and development across Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry.
- Build and deploy custom-engine, declarative, prompt-based, first-party, and embedded agents with model selection, orchestration, grounding, evaluation, tool integration, and enterprise connectivity.
- Implement Power Platform environment strategy, zoned governance, managed environments, DLP policies, ALM and pipelines, solution packaging, connector governance, auditing, and lifecycle management.
- Lead Agent 365 onboarding and implement identity, conditional access, compliance, monitoring, security, and least-privilege controls using Microsoft security and governance services.
- Translate customer business requirements into production-ready workflows, automations, integrations, agent architectures, and extensibility patterns across Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Services, and Power Platform.
- Design grounding and retrieval architectures using enterprise data sources, connectors, knowledge sources, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Graph, MCP Servers, and Dataverse.
- Perform agent evaluation, safety testing, responsible AI reviews, content moderation planning, observability, feedback-loop analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Create reusable reference architectures, design patterns, solution templates, technical documentation, and implementation guides.
- Advise customers and delivery teams through technical discussions, workshops, presentations, solution decisions, governance planning, and adoption of emerging Microsoft agent capabilities.
- Apply FinOps practices including Copilot Credit planning, usage forecasting, consumption monitoring, cost-benefit analysis, and cost optimization for agent and AI workloads.
- Use Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot, coding assistants, and Microsoft Agent Framework to build, extend, and troubleshoot agent solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of experience delivering solutions on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, or related Microsoft cloud technologies, including hands-on AI or agent-based solutions.
- Production experience developing agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry, including first-party and custom-engine agent capabilities.
- Experience designing or implementing declarative and embedded agent experiences across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, and YAML configuration patterns.
- Strong understanding of agent architecture, governance, security, identity, compliance, monitoring, and lifecycle management across Power Platform and Microsoft administration and control planes.
- Ability to serve as a technical advisor and subject-matter expert, guide solution design, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Working knowledge of applied AI concepts such as prompt design, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
- Familiarity with design-led or human-centered approaches for technical solution design and workflow modeling.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation, organization, and customer-facing presentation skills.
- Relevant certifications may include Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals (AB-900), Power Platform Solutions Architect (PL-600), Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (AB-100), or Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-103), or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events and collaborate with sales, delivery, engineering, leadership, Microsoft, and customer stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous learning in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Foundry, Agent 365, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, AI workloads, governance, and change and adoption practices.
- Strong ethical standards and disciplined adherence to data privacy, governance, compliance, and security policies.
