Base Salary
$165k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s Data Cloud vision to data engineering, analytics, data science, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead hands-on technical discovery of customer data architectures, pipelines, warehouses, lakehouses, and governance gaps.
- Design Snowflake-native reference architectures and guide customers through data mesh, lakehouse, streaming, and governance patterns.
- Build and deliver tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept across Snowflake data engineering, AI/ML, and data-sharing capabilities.
- Translate business challenges such as churn prediction, supply chain visibility, financial consolidation, and operational analytics into data solutions.
- Partner with sales, channel partners, Product Management, Engineering, and Field teams throughout sales cycles and product feedback processes.
- Quantify business value through measures such as cost reduction, time-to-insight, pipeline reliability, and data-product monetization.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in pre-sales or solutions architecture focused on data platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, and cloud data warehouse or data lakehouse architectures, including writing working code in customer sessions.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, streaming, orchestration, business intelligence, and cloud infrastructure technologies across the modern data stack.
- Experience conducting data architecture discovery and connecting source systems, transformations, consumption patterns, and governance requirements to reference architectures.
- Experience positioning AI and ML capabilities in data-platform contexts, including feature stores, model-training pipelines, LLM-powered applications, and AI governance.
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance challenges including GDPR, CCPA, and PCI.
- Ability to quantify the business value of modern data architectures.
- Demonstrated experience using AI code-generation tools to accelerate prototyping and proof-of-concept delivery.
- University degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Master’s degree in Data Science or Business Analytics is a plus.
- Experience working with global systems integrators such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, or Slalom on large data-platform programs is beneficial but not required.
