Responsibilities
- Build cloud-based, event-driven software systems with high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Develop infrastructure supporting data pipelines, storage, and APIs that provide reliable data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with data scientists to build machine learning pipelines.
- Contribute to software design, architecture, coding, functional and performance testing, documentation, and design verification.
- Improve internal processes, data delivery, and software infrastructure through automation and optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software quality, testing, and development/deployment best practices.
- Participate in production-system on-call rotations and protect client data confidentiality and security.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, and Golang.
- Experience with message brokers, queues, or buses such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and ZeroMQ.
- Experience with MySQL and Cassandra, including relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Familiarity with modern software testing tools and equipment.
- Strong frontend development exposure.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 2–5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 0–2 years of equivalent experience.
