Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support multiple open-source data science and AI software projects as part of a DevOps engineering team.
- Manage hardware and contribute to team purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with build engineers, developers, and management to deliver high-quality software.
- Develop and modernize RAPIDS packages, including Python wheels.
- Design and maintain container build processes using container technologies.
- Implement DevOps best practices with engineering teams.
- Execute initiatives involving CI/CD, observability, security and legal compliance, and system administration.
- Operate and maintain infrastructure and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of technical experience primarily related to DevOps.
- Programming and automation experience with scripting languages, preferably Bash and Python.
- Experience building and publishing packages with Conda and/or PyPI.
- Experience building and publishing Docker containers.
- Experience administering, optimizing, and troubleshooting CI/CD and related tools, including Jenkins, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, including permissions, budgeting, and cost management.
- Linux system administration experience, with Ubuntu strongly preferred.
- Ability to support and prioritize work across multiple teams.
- Preferred experience with NVIDIA’s CUDA toolkit and drivers, software development and build engineering, GitHub operations, and open-source development and community building on GitHub.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Competitive base salary range of 184,000 USD–287,500 USD for Level 4 or 224,000 USD–356,500 USD for Level 5.
