Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture, High-Level Design (HLD), and guide Low-Level Design (LLD) reviews for Java-based enterprise applications.
- Design secure, scalable, cloud-native systems using microservices.
- Translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Stay hands-on with critical design and implementation of complex components.
- Drive engineering best practices through architecture and code reviews.
- Partner with Product, DevOps, and Data teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies and continuously improve the platform.
- Mentor engineers and guide technical direction across teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Java development experience.
- 3+ years of demonstrated ownership of architecture and system design at scale.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, design patterns, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices.
- Strong experience with architecture, HLD, and system design for large-scale Java applications.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of distributed systems, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience in SaaS or product-based companies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AI/ML products, large language models, and AI code-development tools such as Claude Code.
- Exposure to high-volume, distributed enterprise systems.
