Responsibilities
- Write code, complete logic algorithms, and contribute to system design for complex cloud problems.
- Partner with engineering teams to solve complex software problems in the cloud.
- Design and drive implementation of CI/CD pipelines to Azure environments.
- Establish Azure engineering standards, procedures, and best practices for efficiency, security, performance, reliability, quality, and cost optimization.
- Escalate and resolve complex production issues, code issues, and low-level customer requests for assistance.
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members.
- Participate in cloud technology research, proof-of-concepts, and innovation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or a related technical engineering field.
- Experience in at least one cloud-related engineering field, including building and delivering enterprise applications and supporting cloud software in production.
- Experience with one or more public cloud providers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and related systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-native design principles and experience building systems that meet stringent quality, security, and compliance standards.
- General knowledge of general-purpose programming languages and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent project-management skills.
