Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform incidents, including root cause analysis and incident response.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Manage production Kubernetes workloads using Helm, ArgoCD, Flux, and related technologies.
- Develop Python, Bash, and other automation tooling to improve operational efficiency.
- Configure monitoring and alerting solutions and support platform reliability improvements.
- Integrate and support Jira workflows, engineering productivity tooling, and third-party SaaS solutions.
- Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams on scalable, secure platform solutions.
- Support cloud governance, compliance, and cloud security posture management initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Hands-on Terraform experience, including infrastructure module development and management.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar source control platforms.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Production experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Prometheus.
- Basic database administration and SQL query experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent DevOps or cloud certifications or bootcamp training may also be considered.
- Preferred experience with Azure services including AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Virtual Networks.
- Preferred experience with AWS services including EKS, ECR, IAM, and VPC.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management, security best practices, security scanning, compliance automation, and Infrastructure Security.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Flux.
- Experience supporting highly available, enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
- Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or AWS Associate-level certifications are nice to have.
