Base Salary
$165k - $276k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take product ideas from ideation to implementation.
- Develop highly reliable and maintainable backend services.
- Optimize performance and scale of data ingestion and processing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to iterate on the product.
- Lead engineering discussions and advocate for best practices.
- Drive design and code reviews.
- Mentor and contribute to the success of engineers across the team.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role, with 2+ years in Java.
- Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design.
- Passionate about data processing and solving challenging problems.
- Previous experience in distributed systems, data processing, and analytics.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers is a plus.
- Previous experience with real-time stream processing (e.g., Kafka) is a plus.
