Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and evolve the internal AI Engineering Platform and services supporting AI-assisted and Agentic Engineering practices.
- Develop secure, reliable, reusable platform services for developer enablement, observability, automation, package management, code quality, and engineering governance.
- Design and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure using OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Create self-service automation and improve developer experience across engineering workflows.
- Implement monitoring, telemetry, logging, tracing, and metrics for shared platform services.
- Own reliability improvements, root-cause analysis, operational readiness, documentation, and remediation actions.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, architects, platform engineers, and software teams on platform adoption and continuous improvement.
- Lead technical work packages, advise on adoption patterns and trade-offs, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Experience building or operating shared engineering platforms or internal developer platforms.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code using OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience supporting production platform services and automating engineering workflows and cloud infrastructure.
- Understanding of system design, service interfaces, security, resilience, scalability, and maintainability for shared platform services.
- Ability to lead technical work packages, communicate trade-offs, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted software development tools, internal developer platforms, SonarQube, package management platforms, engineering governance tooling, vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and Large Language Models.
