Base Salary
$235k - $352k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly available and fault-tolerant systems for data annotation.
- Productionize core infrastructure for Nuro’s autonomous-driving system.
- Implement data-driven metrics and monitoring to improve label quality.
- Apply ML research to automate and optimize the data-labeling lifecycle.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers to ensure labeled data is high-quality and comprehensive.
- Support workflows including request submission, progress tracking, data dumping, and model development.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating highly scalable and reliable distributed data systems.
- Experience leading cross-team projects and communicating effectively.
- Experience defining technical vision, creating roadmaps, and setting timelines and priorities for a team or project.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills in Python, C++, or Go.
- Experience with reliable large-scale distributed systems, observability, monitoring, incident management, real-world ML applications, or team roadmap execution is a bonus.
