Base Salary
$106k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test strategies and frameworks.
- Lead and mentor test and quality automation engineers and provide direction, prioritization, and automation strategy guidance.
- Define and enforce test automation and quality assurance best practices and standards.
- Assess automation tools and collaborate with stakeholders to establish automation goals and objectives.
- Partner with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD processes.
- Monitor and report test automation metrics and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in test automation processes, tools, and standards, including AI initiatives.
- Create training materials and train staff on automation tools and frameworks.
- Perform manual testing when needed.
Requirements
- Require 7 to 10 years of testing experience, including 4 to 5 years of automation testing experience or equivalent automation training.
- Require proven leadership experience managing and mentoring test automation teams.
- Require strong knowledge of core Java programming concepts and expert-level Java proficiency.
- Require extensive experience with Selenium, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Require excellent API automation experience using Karate and UI automation experience using Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Require understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
- Require strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
