Responsibilities
- Build successful customer relationships in an assigned territory in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Advise customers on the architecture, design, and implementation of the Databricks platform.
- Write code, build working prototypes and demos, and create reusable assets to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Author reference architectures and how-to materials and lead workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Develop into a technical and/or industry specialist and trusted advisor on Databricks solutions.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of technical experience in a customer-facing role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala and proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka is preferred.
- Ability to interact with customers confidently and professionally.
- Ability to meet technical training and role-specific outcome expectations within 6 months of hire.
- Comfort with hands-on prototyping, learning by doing, and AI-assisted development tools.
