Responsibilities
- Lead architecture discovery and create current-state, target-state, integration, data-flow, deployment, and technical-roadmap artifacts.
- Design and defend platform choices across Microsoft AI, agentic, low-code, data, integration, and Azure services.
- Define agent orchestration, grounding, tool invocation, memory, context handling, observability, failure recovery, and non-functional requirements.
- Design secure integrations with systems of record, governed data platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, messaging patterns, and MCP where appropriate.
- Embed identity, least privilege, privacy, security, responsible-AI, auditability, retention, human-in-the-loop, and model-risk controls.
- Lead prototypes, proofs of concept, MVPs, pilots, scaled production services, testing, release management, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Establish engineering standards, development environments, source control, CI/CD, solution packaging, evaluation strategies, and support models.
- Act as senior technical design authority, present to architecture boards and steering groups, and lead multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Build relationships with Microsoft account, specialist seller, technical, and engineering teams and support joint planning, co-build, co-sell, proposals, and solution showcases.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, or senior engineering leader delivering complex Microsoft-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI, agentic, integration, data, or cloud solutions from design through production.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems of record and governed data platforms.
- Practical knowledge of identity, data access, security, privacy, audit, responsible AI, and model-risk expectations.
- Experience defining and assuring non-functional requirements, engineering standards, testing, and production-readiness decisions.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and engaging senior technology stakeholders, architecture boards, or design authorities.
- Experience working with Microsoft teams or partner ecosystem motions, including technical validation, co-sell, co-build, or joint propositions.
- Microsoft certifications across the Microsoft stack.
- Experience designing and implementing MCP servers or comparable enterprise-agent tool abstraction patterns is advantageous.
- Experience in banking, insurance, wealth management, asset management, capital markets, payments, risk, compliance, finance, or operations technology is advantageous.
