Base Salary
$272k - $431k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop custom software for scheduling GPU resources on Kubernetes.
- Build monitoring and health-management capabilities for reliable, available, and scalable GPU assets.
- Process GPU hardware diagnostics, cluster telemetry, and network telemetry data streams.
- Evaluate system failures and improve production services through incident management.
- Coordinate across NVIDIA teams to ensure AI clusters operate reliably, consistently, and at maximum performance.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in similar software engineering roles and large-scale production systems.
- Direct software engineering experience with Kubernetes APIs and frameworks, beyond operating Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience demonstrating meaningful impact in a highly technical organization.
- Proficiency with a systems programming language such as Go or Python.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms and common software engineering principles, tools, and techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-organizational coordination skills.
- Preferred experience managing and automating large-scale distributed systems independently of cloud providers.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Slurm, or Bright Cluster Manager.
- Proven operational excellence maintaining reliable and performant AI infrastructure.
