Responsibilities
- Consult with internal clients and Platform Specialists to analyze requirements and design complex software solutions.
- Prepare technical requirements, systems designs, flowcharts, and detailed specifications for implementation.
- Develop, compile, test, refine, and maintain software code, databases, and information systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation for software build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage deployment and release activities across environments, including production implementation preparation.
- Oversee program testing, investigate logic and data errors, and recommend or escalate corrective actions.
- Support production code sets and implementations in accordance with defined service-level agreements.
- Document development, application use, security, operating, and maintenance procedures.
- Participate in proof-of-concept work, post-implementation reviews, and improvements to processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of multi-technology application design, development, and platform engineering.
- Ability to assess application environments holistically, including hardware platforms, applications, databases, operating systems, and storage.
- Extensive knowledge and experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive knowledge of deployment and release management across environments, automation tooling, and source code repositories.
- Extensive software development and support experience, including deploying solutions to clients in outsourced or similar IT environments.
- Extensive programming and development experience and experience working across multiple teams and geographies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, organization, teamwork, and client-focused skills.
- Knowledge of project management principles and experience contributing to methodology, process, and tool improvements.
- Relevant DevOps, Agile, cloud platform, scripting, and programming-language certifications are preferred.
