Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure for web, mobile, and big data applications.
Scale and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB, along with web servers, application frameworks, caches, and distributed messaging systems.
Automate deployment and configuration of virtualized infrastructure and the software stack.
Plan and maintain backup and restoration policies supporting low RTO and RPO.
Support Linux servers running the SaaS platform across AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Ali Cloud.
Identify performance bottlenecks and scaling issues, and implement improvements.
Manage monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
Evaluate tools to automate development operations and daily tasks.
Ensure high availability and automatic failover with minimal manual intervention.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
11–14 years of experience designing and maintaining high-volume, scalable microservices architectures on cloud infrastructure.
Strong Linux/Unix administration and Python or shell scripting experience.
Extensive experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
Experience with deployment automation and continuous integration and deployment tools including Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Chef, and GitLab.
Experience with monitoring tools including Zabbix, CloudWatch Monitoring, and Nagios.
Knowledge of Java Virtual Machines, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Kafka, microservices architecture, and caching mechanisms.
Experience with query analysis, performance tuning, and database redesign.
Experience in enterprise application development, maintenance, and operations.
Knowledge of IT operations best practices for always-up, always-available services.
Strong written and oral communication, judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills.
