Responsibilities
- Assist with designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.
- Collaborate with senior architects on architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Support the development and integration of systems and applications.
- Evaluate hardware and software components and create proofs of concept and prototypes.
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.
- Analyze current systems and processes, identify improvements, and support implementation of support strategies.
- Monitor and report on support metrics and identify trends for improvement.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and help ensure process integrity.
- Engage with business managers, analysts, project managers, IT management, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or related roles.
- Understanding of architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and related cloud services.
- Basic experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Preferred experience with commercial financial applications such as Yardi, RealPage, MRI, and JDE.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.
- Cloud-platform certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is preferred.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards is preferred.
