Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain application and system solutions, features, enhancements, and source-code fixes.
  • Perform unit and component testing, peer code reviews, quality reviews, and defect prevention activities.
  • Analyze technical requirements and recommend engineering solutions that meet performance, delivery, quality, and architecture goals.
  • Document and verify system components, infrastructure, security, integrations, operability, and architecture designs.
  • Provide technical support during incident management, including impact assessment, communications, problem determination, and resolution.
  • Support configuration, provisioning, maintenance, lifecycle management, testing cycles, and post-production deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams, technology partners, stakeholders, and leadership on requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and project delivery.
  • Identify technical risks, lessons learned, security vulnerabilities, and process improvements while complying with policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Share knowledge, assist teammates, participate in cross-training, and contribute to a positive and equitable team environment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate.
  • Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Ability to develop and program applications and systems and perform related testing and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of technology delivery practices, project documentation, risk management, quality standards, and security coding practices.
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technology partners and communicate project and incident status effectively.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $59,500 - $84,000 CAD.
