Base Salary
$216k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of identity infrastructure for secure authentication and authorization.
- Manage authentication mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Oversee authorization mechanisms including Relation-based, Attribute-based, and Role-based access control.
- Collaborate with auditors and security teams to enforce identity governance policies.
- Present technical information and best practices on identity management to teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-time engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure and identity systems.
- Expertise in IAM controls and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Hands-on experience with authorization frameworks like OpenFGA, Authzed, or Cedar.
- Strong understanding of Zanzibar-based ReBAC models and access control evaluation.
- Knowledge of authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
- Extensive experience in software development and distributed systems, preferably in AWS.
- Proven track record of independent ownership of successful engineering projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
