Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release high-quality software features for the Huntress Security Platform.
- Manage technical development of Portal features, including UX/UI and API-focused work.
- Create technical vision, software designs, architecture, workflows, and data models from product requirements.
- Collaborate with Growth teams on data-driven features, experiments, acquisition, activation, retention, and user flows.
- Own system evolution, configuration, risk management, code quality, test coverage, estimates, and timely delivery.
- Review code and test plans while leading the team toward reliable, efficient software releases.
- Mentor and coach engineers and promote collaboration, engagement, and professional development.
- Build and evolve AI tooling and AI usage in daily development workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing complex software products.
- 5+ years of programming experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with JavaScript and databases such as Postgres.
- Strong defensive coding skills focused on secure, resilient, and failure-aware system design.
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using AI coding agents to accelerate development.
- Preferred: experience integrating and managing billing systems, including Stripe, Salesforce, and subscription management workflows.
