Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements with engineering and program management staff.
- Translate requirements into technical designs and present designs to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement software components and applications according to technical designs.
- Perform unit and component testing and assist with technical verification before delivery.
- Investigate and address requirement violations in functional testing and production software.
- Track and report task, deliverable, and issue status.
- Follow corporate processes and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform task management activities for other software engineers as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field listed in the posting.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressively advanced commercial or government software development experience.
- C# and Visual Studio experience are required; Java experience may be a substitute.
- Experience with object-oriented software development, design, testing, source code management, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards affecting software development.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes WPF/XAML, Azure DevOps source control using Git, and basic understanding of SOLID principles.
