Responsibilities
- Develop code using Java 17, Spring Reactive Programming, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
- Solve technical problems using current technologies and software development best practices.
- Propose and demonstrate feasible alternative solutions to technical problems.
- Ensure that all aspects of the technical design are correctly implemented.
- Contribute technical expertise to projects as required.
- Conduct research and implement proofs of concept as required.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of Java/J2EE development experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
- Hands-on experience with Java 8, Java 11, Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive Programming, Kafka, and Oracle is required.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Schedulers, Spring JPA, Apache Camel, XML, and microservices is required.
- Experience with unit testing using Mockito and JUnit, test coverage, and code quality practices is required.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or another distributed version control system is required.
- Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, design-pattern knowledge, and coding-standard knowledge are expected.
- Exposure to SOAP APIs is preferred.
- UI knowledge with JavaScript, Vue.js, and Node.js is optional.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MariaDB, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB is preferred.
