Base Salary
$129k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to architect scalable and reliable products.
- Debug reliability and scalability issues across all stack layers.
- Create monitoring and alerting systems focused on symptoms.
- Ensure compliance with strict enterprise-grade SLAs.
- Develop internal platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Create deployment pipelines for applications in multiple languages.
- Provide centralized tooling and automation frameworks.
- Manage incidents and respond to availability issues.
- Conduct retrospectives to improve systems and processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Strong understanding of systems, interfaces, and failure modes.
- Ability to collaborate and document effectively.
- Proficient in Linux and Unix Shell.
- Strong programming skills in Ruby and/or Go.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Postgres, or similar data technologies.
