Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting and product guidance to banks and other partners integrating Wise products.
- Define technical solutions, document requirements, and assist partners during implementation.
- Support business development through technical scoping and feature design for larger partners.
- Participate in feature definition, prioritization, and long-term Wise Platform strategy.
- Design and develop features for Wise services and expose them through the public API when needed.
- Improve integration experiences through documentation, APIs, SDKs, code samples, and reference implementations.
- Collaborate with technical presales teams during sales cycles and support new partnerships.
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical issues while assisting the API support team with complex problems.
- Improve internal processes for managing multiple integrations in parallel and support expansion into new regions.
- Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, and partners on product and project decisions.
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles, ideally in financial services or a similar domain.
- Familiarity with common design patterns and architectural principles, including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity and working experience with Java, Spring, Kubernetes, AWS, service mesh technologies, RESTful APIs, API design, Swagger, OpenAPI, and OAuth2.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and self-management skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, projects, and deals across multiple workstreams.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A customer-centric approach and ability to work effectively with partners.
- Experience in solutions engineering, IT consulting, partner engineering, integration engineering, or solutions consulting is preferred.
