Base Salary

$126k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy components of a new financial platform.
  • Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and APIs.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure engineering team to minimize operational overhead.
  • Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance with the QA team.
  • Learn and execute agile methodologies and follow a test-driven development approach.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address platform issues.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in Go.
  • Experience in additional backend languages such as Ruby, Java, and Python is preferred.
  • Have 4+ years of engineering experience.
  • Have contributed to the development of backend systems.
  • Experience in payment processing systems is required.
  • Take a rigorous approach to testing backend development.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a bonus.
  • Understanding of architectural patterns of large, mission-critical production services is a bonus.
  • Experience in continuous integration/deployment environments is a bonus.
