Base Salary
$126k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy components of a new financial platform.
- Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and APIs.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure engineering team to minimize operational overhead.
- Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance with the QA team.
- Learn and execute agile methodologies and follow a test-driven development approach.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address platform issues.
Requirements
- Must have experience in Go.
- Experience in additional backend languages such as Ruby, Java, and Python is preferred.
- Have 4+ years of engineering experience.
- Have contributed to the development of backend systems.
- Experience in payment processing systems is required.
- Take a rigorous approach to testing backend development.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a bonus.
- Understanding of architectural patterns of large, mission-critical production services is a bonus.
- Experience in continuous integration/deployment environments is a bonus.
