Base Salary

$126k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy components of a new financial platform.
Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and APIs.
Collaborate with the infrastructure engineering team to minimize operational overhead.
Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance with the QA team.
Learn and execute agile methodologies and follow a test-driven development approach.
Participate in an on-call rotation to address platform issues.

Must have experience in Go.
Experience in additional backend languages such as Ruby, Java, and Python is preferred.
Have 4+ years of engineering experience.
Have contributed to the development of backend systems.
Experience in payment processing systems is required.
Take a rigorous approach to testing backend development.
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a bonus.
Understanding of architectural patterns of large, mission-critical production services is a bonus.
Experience in continuous integration/deployment environments is a bonus.
