Base Salary
$165k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the architecture and design of major Freestyle Orchestrator components.
- Conduct design reviews, establish coding and architecture best practices, and provide technical guidance.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote technical growth and knowledge sharing.
- Solve complex challenges involving orchestration, workflow execution, and cross-platform integration.
- Evaluate technologies and improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Champion automated testing, CI/CD improvements, and secure SDLC compliance.
- Contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis for critical issues.
- Represent Freestyle in cross-organization architecture discussions and collaborate with SRE, Partner Engineering, and Product teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing and building distributed systems or SaaS platforms.
- Strong foundation in modern engineering practices, cloud-native architectures, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure SDLC.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
- Deep technical expertise and ownership of complex systems, with the ability to mentor engineers.
- Preferred experience with workflow engines, orchestration platforms, or device management solutions.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker, Maven, Artifactory, and cloud deployment pipelines.
- Preferred experience with Workspace ONE UEM or similar enterprise mobility platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
