Responsibilities

Develop and release scalable backend features in a cross-functional full-ownership team.
Build high-volume data-processing solutions for fraud detection and automated misuse enforcement.
Maintain and improve React-based internal investigation tooling.
Troubleshoot software defects and optimize database performance.
Participate in technical discussions and learn infrastructure-as-code best practices.
Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate detection models.
Contribute throughout the product lifecycle from ideation through maintenance.

Experience in full-stack web development through commercial work or a strong portfolio, with a backend focus.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of backend development with Node.js.
Understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
Familiarity with component-based frontend development, ideally React.
Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
A collaborative, feedback-oriented, ambitious, and improvement-focused approach.
Interest in Applied AI and its integration with backend engineering is a nice-to-have.
