Responsibilities
- Develop and release scalable backend features in a cross-functional full-ownership team.
- Build high-volume data-processing solutions for fraud detection and automated misuse enforcement.
- Maintain and improve React-based internal investigation tooling.
- Troubleshoot software defects and optimize database performance.
- Participate in technical discussions and learn infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate detection models.
- Contribute throughout the product lifecycle from ideation through maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience in full-stack web development through commercial work or a strong portfolio, with a backend focus.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of backend development with Node.js.
- Understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with component-based frontend development, ideally React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
- A collaborative, feedback-oriented, ambitious, and improvement-focused approach.
- Interest in Applied AI and its integration with backend engineering is a nice-to-have.
