Base Salary
$144k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own core services that ingest PSP settlement and transactional data at scale.
- Design and deliver infrastructure for bespoke monetization deal terms.
- Rapidly build and iterate tools to enhance interactions with finance data.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to model and expose transactional data.
- Communicate with stakeholders to establish best practices for data quality.
- Maintain accuracy and operational excellence in a SOX controlled environment.
- Create clear definitions and documentation of data sources and systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience handling transactional or financial data at scale in a SOX controlled environment.
- Ability to design reliable and auditable services and data models.
- Familiarity with streaming production data and data warehouse environments.
- Comfort operating without a playbook and defining architecture as you go.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: knowledge of finance principles and experience with payments infrastructure.
