Base Salary
$230k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams for threat modeling and security reviews.
- Establish and evolve Apollo's application security program.
- Drive security requirements into the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in products and APIs.
- Act as a security advisor for product teams on customer-facing features.
- Advance detection and response strategy with engineering and IT leadership.
- Implement and maintain adherence to SOC 2 and other security frameworks.
- Handle escalations from Sales and Customer Success.
- Build and tune monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Drive automation of SecOps workflows.
- Guide secure adoption of AI across Apollo.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 6+ years in security engineering, covering application security and security operations.
- Strong foundation in application security practices.
- Deep expertise in detection and response in cloud-native environments.
- Experience building and automating security tooling.
- Proven ability to partner with engineering teams to improve security posture.
- Track record of influencing security culture across an organization.
- Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead incident response across multiple teams.
