Base Salary
$182k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the core design system for engineers and designers.
- Own web application architecture, including SSR strategy and CI/CD for frontend.
- Drive performance and reliability across all web surfaces.
- Develop scalable, reusable frontend components and frameworks.
- Establish best practices for accessibility, performance, and localization.
- Build experimentation infrastructure for A/B testing.
- Improve UI consistency and reduce regressions through strong abstractions.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate platform capabilities.
- Help shape an AI-forward development approach.
- Create clear documentation and governance for adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience building and scaling design systems or developer platforms.
- Fluent in modern frontend technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of web performance and frontend observability.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks or A/B testing infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of accessibility and localization at a systems level.
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence product decisions.
- Bring a founder's mindset with ownership and speed.
