Base Salary
$144k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines that parse clinical evidence into structured formats for large language model retrieval.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and storage layers serving structured clinical evidence requests.
- Configure and maintain server and tool-call integrations connecting the infrastructure to partner AI platforms.
- Implement authentication, per-partner access controls, and audit logging across delivery surfaces.
- Monitor pipeline and platform health and resolve data integrity, latency, and availability issues.
- Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years building and operating cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with tool-calling or connector integrations, including Model Context Protocol servers, function calling, or plugin frameworks.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on data pipeline and structured-output experience.
- Preferred: experience designing and building REST or equivalent APIs serving structured data at scale.
- Preferred: experience with RAG pipelines, JavaScript or TypeScript, modern web frameworks, and regulated-industry healthcare or clinical data.
