Base Salary
$117k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production-grade AI agents and orchestration workflows.
- Own the end-to-end agent lifecycle, including discovery, routing, execution, streaming responses, compliance, deployment, and enterprise delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create design artifacts and develop software solutions for Visa’s technical offerings.
- Contribute to product quality improvements, service technology, and new business flows in agile squads.
- Develop robust and scalable AI-powered products and workflows.
- Embed with business teams to understand manual processes and convert them into automated, AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years of relevant work experience; master’s graduates require at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and language model APIs such as the Anthropic SDK and OpenAI Responses API.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Understanding of component-based design, reusable UI patterns, front-end state management, data flow, and UI performance optimization.
- Exposure to back-end development and at least one server-side language such as Python, Java, C#, or Node/TypeScript.
- Introductory experience with relational, NoSQL, or in-memory databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Awareness of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Preferred experience building, consuming, testing, or documenting REST APIs and understanding HTTP methods, authentication, validation, error handling, and versioning.
- Ability to write, review, and refine readable code and critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and requirements alignment.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, automated builds, testing, quality checks, deployment pipelines, and release processes.
- Curiosity about Generative AI, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate and communicate technical concepts clearly.
