Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with commercial prospects and customers.
- Develop expertise in Vanta’s product capabilities, integrations, configurations, messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
- Support customers through their Vanta trial process.
- Build product examples, documentation, and other customer resources.
- Provide market feedback to the product team and help prioritize functionality for sales opportunities.
- Identify and help drive programs that improve the pre-sales to post-sales transition.
- Collaborate with sales and colleagues in a creative, open, and continuously improving environment.
Requirements
- Full German language proficiency is required to support DACH market account teams and customers.
- Must work from the London office three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- At least 5 years of customer-facing technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent.
- Previous B2B SaaS experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, operating systems, and cloud application architecture.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a startup environment with limited structure.
- General knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus.
- Prior cybersecurity experience is preferred.
- Strong creativity, technical ability, persuasion, organization, attention to detail, and customer-listening skills.
