Responsibilities
- Design and maintain clean, decoupled system architectures using Clean Architecture and CQRS patterns.
- Architect high-throughput, fault-tolerant Apache Kafka event streams, including partitioning, consumer groups, schemas, backpressure, atomicity, and idempotent messaging.
- Develop ultra-low-latency ASP.NET Core Minimal APIs with advanced caching, connection pooling, and resilient middleware pipelines.
- Define frontend architecture for modular Blazor applications, including rendering modes, state management, and JavaScript interoperability.
- Use .NET Aspire and Docker for distributed application orchestration, containerization, and multi-service lifecycle management.
- Design event-driven microservices, asynchronous integrations, REST/gRPC services, and optimized data access.
- Collaborate with teams, share knowledge, challenge conventional approaches, and contribute to consulting engagements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Architect or Technical Lead.
- Deep expertise in C# and .NET 10, including language specifications, compilation optimizations, and Central Package Management.
- Proven experience with Clean Architecture, distributed systems, event-driven microservices, and Apache Kafka producers, consumers, and stream-processing infrastructure.
- Strong experience designing high-performance REST/gRPC services, asynchronous I/O pipelines, low-latency serialization, and resilient integrations.
- Proficiency with Entity Framework Core, complex query tuning, B-tree indexes, execution plans, and read/write optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of Blazor component lifecycles, global state management, JavaScript Interop, and client-server security trade-offs.
- Extensive experience deploying containerized microservices to cloud environments using AWS or Azure and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with distributed resiliency patterns, circuit breakers, and rate limiting using frameworks such as Polly.
- Experience with Kafka Streams API, Confluent Schema Registry, or Avro contracts is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.
