Base Salary

$120k - $253k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Angular.
Develop backend and frontend software using Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and Angular.
Build high-availability, low-latency, high-throughput applications and deploy resilient services in Azure AKS.
Execute the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration, testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business groups, and subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver strategic data solutions.
Apply security, privacy, quality assurance, and secure coding practices.
Advise IT management and technical staff on emerging technologies and help define implementation and integration strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
10–12 years of software development experience and thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Hands-on coding experience developing backend, low-latency, and high-throughput processing applications.
Proficiency with current Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Strong relational database experience, including data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedures.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud environments.
Understanding of code reviews and secure coding practices, plus experience using APIs for system integration.
Preferred experience in securities or financial services, mainframe transformation, and messaging technologies such as MQ or Kafka.
Preferred experience with AI tools such as Windsurf, Codex, and GitHub Copilot, and with building agentic AI or LLM-based solutions.
