
Lead Architect

- Define technology strategy, architectural vision, and solution direction for business initiatives.
- Design comprehensive solutions involving complex, multi-system integrations across business units and domains.
- Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards, principles, and roadmaps.
- Identify impacted applications and platforms, evaluate the need for new platforms, and lead platform selection.
- Guide proposed solutions throughout projects and communicate architecture to stakeholders and technologists.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, develop future-state technology roadmaps, and conduct proofs of concept.
- Support vendor selection and management, application rationalization, and technology due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Contribute to development team backlogs and facilitate consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with 6 years of related experience, or an alternative combination such as a master’s degree with 4 years, a Ph.D. with 1 year, or 18 years of related experience.
- At least 6 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering web application solutions.
- Experience architecting complex, multi-system solutions and developing architecture principles and standards.
- Experience with vendor selection and management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience with cloud resiliency concepts and building cloud applications; cloud-native experience is preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement/deployment and DevOps.
- Familiarity with Spec Driven Development and Agentic-driven SDLC.
- AWS Solution Architect Certification is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes APIs, OAuth and single sign-on, enterprise architecture modeling products, Java Spring Boot platforms, single-page application frameworks, consulting, and SAFe.
