Responsibilities
- Develop new solutions, application features, enhancements, and source-code fixes aligned with business and architecture requirements.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and support application and system components through testing and production deployment.
- Conduct unit/component testing, peer code reviews, quality management reviews, operational readiness reviews, and solution design sign-offs.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend pragmatic engineering solutions addressing performance, integration, security, operability, and time-to-market goals.
- Provide technical expertise during incident management, analyze outages and impacts, support communications, and help resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
- Identify automation, development, testing, process, and performance improvement opportunities and implement remediation plans.
- Collaborate with technology partners, business stakeholders, and internal and external partners to maintain alignment with enterprise, regulatory, and risk requirements.
- Mentor and support team members, share engineering best practices, facilitate knowledge transfer, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate is required.
- A strong academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related area is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, procedures, and programming languages is expected.
- Experience independently performing complex technical tasks, developing program specifications, coding, testing, debugging, and adapting or integrating programs is expected.
- Knowledge of software engineering quality practices, incident management, risk and governance processes, and continuous improvement is preferred.
