Base Salary

$81k - $168k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee mission-critical software initiatives supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
  • Develop and optimize Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database solutions.
  • Build, support, troubleshoot, and integrate cloud-based solutions in AWS GovCloud.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit and integration testing, debugging, and quality and security validation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering system architecture, software design, and implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, Department of War policies, and security requirements.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, status reports, and performance updates for government stakeholders and corporate leadership.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance; an interim Top Secret clearance will be considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting the full software development lifecycle for secure, enterprise-level applications.
  • Experience working on or around AWS cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on application development experience with Java or Kotlin and TypeScript, including object-oriented design and modern development frameworks.
  • Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, including query writing, optimization, and data integrity.
  • Experience supporting applications in AWS GovCloud or other secure cloud environments, including cloud architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Agile collaborative development practices, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organization, and research skills.
