Responsibilities
- Build and ship reliable, customer-facing production software.
- Collaborate with a small engineering team to design and deliver new functionality.
- Use AI coding agents to generate, iterate, review, and refine production-quality code.
- Work across TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Python.
- Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions for new features.
- Improve engineering practices through AI-assisted development and modern tooling.
- Help shape product development and the technical foundations for Orbital’s growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrate excellence in a professional, academic, or personal domain.
- Have a generalist mindset and willingness to work across product, design, and AI.
- Have experience building modern agentic systems or reasoning through complex ML products.
- Show a track record of working on products generating millions of pounds in ARR with high growth.
- Have evidence of rapid career progression, such as moving from junior to senior level in under five years.
- Be able to critique AI-generated output with high technical standards and judgment.
- Bring strong conviction that AI will reshape industries and motivation to build at the frontier.
