Responsibilities
- Lead customer onboardings from sales handoff through project close, including architecture workshops, platform installation, access setup, integration configuration, and operational readiness reviews.
- Create and maintain customer success plans covering business objectives, KPIs, adoption milestones, and forward plans.
- Translate platform adoption into customer business outcomes such as cost efficiency, engineering velocity, risk reduction, and platform ROI.
- Run regular customer check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Executive Business Reviews.
- Advise customers on vCluster architecture, Tenant Cluster deployment patterns, RBAC, Tenant Isolation, integrations, and Day 2 operations.
- Own renewal motions beginning 90 or more days before renewal and identify expansion opportunities in collaboration with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers.
- Represent customer feedback internally and provide actionable context to Product and Engineering.
Requirements
- Experience in a technical post-sales role such as customer success, technical account management, or professional services, with a record of driving adoption and measurable outcomes across technical customers.
- Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies, including the ability to discuss architecture, RBAC, Tenant Isolation, and cloud infrastructure with platform engineers.
- Ability to work effectively with both executive stakeholders and platform engineers while maintaining technical credibility.
- Structured, proactive operating style using success plans, adoption milestones, and renewal timelines.
- Understanding of renewal and expansion drivers in SaaS or platform businesses.
- Kubernetes certification such as CKA or CKAD is preferred.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU compute environments, internal developer platforms, regulated industries, Kubernetes or open-source contributions, or Series B-D startups is preferred.
