Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Azure Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep and Azure Verified Modules for enterprise landing zones and workload infrastructure.
- Automate Azure networking, including Virtual WAN, Virtual Hubs, VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, and private DNS zones.
- Manage application traffic routing, SSL offloading, and secure entry points with Azure Application Gateway and WAF.
- Automate Azure VM, Storage Account, Key Vault, Container Apps, and Container Registry deployment and configuration.
- Develop and optimize multi-stage Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for infrastructure and application validation, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain internal AVM module libraries and establish standards for parameterization, tagging, telemetry, and reusable infrastructure components.
- Implement DevSecOps controls including secret management, RBAC, managed identities, and security scanning in CI/CD workflows.
- Manage Azure Repos/Git version control, branching strategies, and release governance.
- Configure monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, and logging with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.
- Develop automation scripts with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, guides, and runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Infrastructure Automation Engineer.
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure Bicep and Azure Verified Modules.
- Strong experience with Azure networking, Application Gateway/WAF, Key Vault, Container Apps, Virtual Machines, Container Registry, and Storage Accounts.
- Strong proficiency designing and implementing Azure DevOps multi-stage YAML pipelines, service connections, environments, approvals, and deployment gates.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash; Python is a plus.
- Understanding of Azure RBAC, Entra ID, managed identities, cloud security, containerization, and microservice deployment.
- Experience with Docker, Bicep linting, ARM what-if operations, PSRule, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher.
- Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700, or AZ-400 are advantageous.
