Responsibilities
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.
- Resolve complex, high-impact problems through analysis of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Design and develop applications in accordance with the overall architecture blueprint.
- Establish and apply standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions involving applications, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage risks while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and software application programming.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, REST APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend technologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience developing and architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements.
- Experience developing APIs and web services using REST and SOAP.
- Database experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or Oracle, or NoSQL platforms.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles, including container deployment.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
